Congratulations to the GBS Girls' Soccer Team for beating New Trier 1 - 0 Thursday, May 22, 2008 to win their sectional.
During Monday's playoff game the team ended their season to St. Ignatius. Congratulations to our team for their outstanding season.
The girls accomplishments this year include:
* 18-game unbeaten streak
* 12-game winning streak
* 21-3-1 overall record (NEW SCHOOL RECORD)
* IHSA Sectional Title - 1997 and 2008.

About GBS
Glenbrook South High School, which opened its doors in the fall of 1962, serves the incorporated and unincorporated areas of Glenview, and has grown to over 2500 students. Glenbrook North High School, the other high school of Northfield High School District 225 serves the secondary students of incorporated and unincorporated Northbrook. The two high schools together comprise a district honored both state-wide and nationally for outstanding academic achievements.
