Freshman Girls Basketball Team shoot free throws for Cancer Research

The Freshmen Girls Basketball Team raised over $1,400 to benefit the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Pledges were taken for shooting free throws over the winter break. The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded by ESPN and basketball coaching legend, Jim Valvano. Freshman girls basketball coach, Mark Gallagher encouraged the girls to acquire pledges and helped to coordinate the donations.
