2009 Honor Societies Induction Ceremony

Glenbrook South High School held its 2009 Honor Societies Induction Ceremony in the Norman E. Watson Auditorium on the evening of April 7th. 93 juniors and seniors were inducted into the Cum Laude Society, an exclusive society which honors students for exceptional academic achievements. 146 juniors and seniors were inducted into the National Honor Society, an organization that recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in academics, co-curricular participation, community service, and character. The evening's program included an address from the 2008 Distinguished Teaching Award Recipient, Mrs. Hilary Rosenthal, musical selections from NINE, Chamber Singers, the Glenbrook Jazz Combo, and various GBS Instrumentalists.
