The GBS Journalism Team, which is comprised of staff from both The Oracle and The Etruscan, finished 4th at the IHSA journalism state tournament this weekend! Team-members who competed at state were Mike Anderson, Jeff Benjamin, Corinne Chin, Amy Lewin, Marissa Perlman, and Mina Shankar.
GBS has two new individual state champions: Senior Mike Anderson in Newspaper Design and Senior Amy Lewin in Advertising Design!
Junior Corinne Chin took home two individual 4th-place awards in Feature Writing and Review Writing.

About GBS
Glenbrook South High School, which opened its doors in the fall of 1962, serves the incorporated and unincorporated areas of Glenview, and has grown to over 2500 students. Glenbrook North High School, the other high school of Northfield High School District 225 serves the secondary students of incorporated and unincorporated Northbrook. The two high schools together comprise a district honored both state-wide and nationally for outstanding academic achievements.
