Driver Education Parent Night at GBS

Driver Education Parent Night on Tuesday February 3rd at 7:00pm in the Driver Ed. Classroom (713). At this time the teachers will make a short presentation detailing the Driver Education program followed by a question and answer session. At least one parent should be in attendance at this meeting to allow your son/daughter to participate in the cooperative driver-testing program at Glenbrook South. Your presence is extremely important. We are striving for 100% attendance since this will be the only Parent Night held this semester.

I never even heard about the meeting and I've had no information or communication except hearsay from other parents.

Who or how is it decided who gets Driver's Ed at GBS and who has to get their own private school?

Is it a school credit if you take the course at GBS and NOT a credit if you go to a private business?

Is it a school credit if you take it as a summer school course?

The Driver Ed. parent night is listed on the school calendar. Students enrolled in the program are told and their parents are sent a letter. The guidance Dept. decides upon a birth date that allows for admission into the program. It is a school credit.
Students should check with their counselors for admission requirements.
