Glenbrook South Swimmers Make History

Congratulations to the Girls Swimming Team who made history this weekend by placing 4th as a team at the IHSA State Meet. This is the highest finish ever in school history. A total of 4 school records were broken.

• Daniela Cubelic placed 2nd in the 200 freestyle and 3rd in the 100 backstroke with school records and Automatic All American times in both.
• Kelly Hagerty placed 3rd in the 100 freestyle with an Automatic All American time.
• Kelly also placed 4th in the 50 freestyle with a school record and Automatic All American time.
• The 200 freestyle relay team of Susan Bolt, Daniela Cubelic, Jill Cordes, and Kelly Hagerty placed 3rd with an Automatic All American Time.
• The 400 freestyle relay team of Susan Bolt, Daniela Cubelic, Jill Cordes, and Kelly Hagerty placed 2nd with a school record and Automatic All American time.
