Brian Robinson, GBS Trainer, is the recipient of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association’s Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award

The Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award is a prestigious national honor that recognizes members of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) for their exceptional and unique contributions to the athletic training profession. It reflects a lifetime of dedication to the association and to the field of athletic training on the national, district and local levels. Candidates must have a minimum of 20 years as a certified member of the NATA in good standing and have made contributions at the national level. These contributions include leadership and advancement of the association and of the profession nationally. Recipients of the award are the role models for the future leaders in the profession.

Brian Robinson has been an athletic trainer at Glenbrook South for 31 years. His accomplishments include writing guidelines for preventing the spread of communicable and infectious disease in secondary schools. He developed these guidelines, which have recently been shared with media outlets across the country, at the request of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. Mr. Robinson will be formally presented with the Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award in June at the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposia. Congratulations Mr. Robinson!
